One of Bay
Area's best and longest-running events
took place Thursday night when the
Northern California Chapter of the
National Football Foundation and College
Hall of Fame held its annual awards'
banquet at the Marriott Hotel in
Burlingame.
Former NFL
quarterback Bob Lee emceed the event
that was highlighted by the presentation
of 24 scholarships to top football
players and scholars worth $1,000 a
piece.
