"Advisory Committee" The Athletic Advisory Budget Committee was a GROUP EFFORT to retain and promote athletics at DHS and CAJ.
It was primarily comprised of the D.H.S. Athletic Director and Varsity Coaches, plus the C.A. Jacobs Athletic Director and Coaching Staff. Below is an example of the efforts put forth by this committee:

I want to personally extend a big thank you to all of you who have been closely working with our Athletics Departments (DHS and CAJ) trying to assist the District office resolve our financial plight during this time of budget crisis. Many of you have put in extensive hours... I encourage all of you to attend a very important organizational meeting at DHS tomorrow evening (Wednesday) at 6:00 p.m. in the Faculty Room. If you cannot attend, try and send a parent or friend to represent your program. Our goal is to provide a unified front on Thursday night at the District board meeting. If you have any questions, please e-mail me at tcrumpacker@dixonusd.org or at one of the numbers below.
