2011 Parent-Player Info

Please click on the School Websites page for valuable information

concerning your child's education.

The DHS website at www.dhsRAMS.com contains

high school calendars and schedules,  daily announcements,

e-mail addresses for Counselors and Teachers,

and a DHS Sports / Athletic Director page

 on the Student Activities link.

The LEADERSHIP CALENDAR is an excellent source for

significant DHS dates such as vacations, dances, yearbook information, etc.

  ---------------------------------------------------------------------

Character development is an important part of your child’s high school years.

Volunteering time at school functions is an excellent way to show

support for your child

and exactly how important they are to you.

Team sports such as football and cheerleading

require devotion from your children

while providing many of the most rewarding memories they will have.

Team sports also develop positive habit patterns

and the foundation for future success.

If any issue arises, please try to resolve it at the lowest levels

starting with your son's position coach, then his head coach.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

We urge you to contact the Quarterback Club and your child’s coaches

for details on how you can assist.

Thank you for participating in your child’s high school experience!!!

Another fantastic way to show support is to become a "Team Mom".

Mothers On a Mission (MOMs) provide a unique way of sharing information

that has been extremely beneficial to the overall success of our program.

Football Program Ads placed by parents/grandparents

 provide personalized recognition

to your son or daughter on an individual basis

which will become a keepsake forever.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Athletic Director's Guidelines

Contact the Athletic Director's Office for

the latest changes to policies.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

FOOTBALL 101

provides information about the game of football

to help parents, players, and fans learn the basic concepts.
